Renovated Beautiful Top Floor Studio in Kallio

Is definitely not worth it Positive: There was one nice picture on the wall Negative: This place would have been nice IF I was in my early 20's and I could borrow it for free from a mate or something. To have paid close to €400 for 4 nights was just criminal. First, the place is being renovated. Which is not mentioned until YOU HAVE COMPLETED the booking. And only in a "chat" inside booking platform, which part is conveniently not visible if you receive an email receipt of that message. They casually mention "oh you cannot open windows and the view is obstructed". What they don't mention: temperature inside is insanely high even in cool weather (it was 17-18°C outside and rainy my entire stay, but inside it was 30+ easily). There is no way to cool down the place. There is a fan, which is broken and when contacting the owner about the heat their best solution is to keep the mailbox open with a book (and yes they are dead serious). This doesn't help one bit. This was known (see earlier review) but not helped since. Owner is not sympathetic or helpful or even apologetic but mocks you and questions your sanity when contacted. They also don't mention builders walking right in front of your window and banging as early as 7 am. Furthermore, there is no curtains only slats which darken the room like a newspaper. It says "renovated", this is only the kitchen (which looks nice from the outside, true) not the floors or bathroom. Shower is broken, which was known (see earlier review). Toilet is broken. Tried to make pasta and sauce, one of the two provided pans does not work on the stove. You get a towel the size of a stamp for all your kitchen linens. Bathroom is claustrophobic, old and horribly fixed. Cabinet contains leftovers from previous travellers. Bed looks like it was used before and doesn't have an actual mattress but is more like a pull out sofa with a mattress topper, which half falls off even when only one person stays there.

Toto ubytování bylo pro nás velkým zklamáním. Positive: Poloha v rámci města byla docela fajn, blízko na tramvaj a dobré podniky v okolí. Negative: Ubytování bylo v čase naší návštěvy v rekonstrukci. Okno bylo zalepené igelitem a nedalo se prakticky nijak vyvětrat. Majitel to sice zmínil, ale až po realizaci rezervace ve zprávách. Snažili jsme se s ním spojit ohledně řešení situace a nabídnul nám větrání přes poštovní schránku ve dveřích a větrák, což nebylo úplně dostačující k pohodlnému pobytu. Na ubytování jsme tedy cíleně trávili co nejméně času a noci byly dost náročné. V koupelně byla navíc rozbitá sprcha a voda stříkala všude na okolo.

Asunto on todella viehättävä vanha kerrostaloyksiö. Kauniisti sisustettu ja viihtyisä sekä siisti. Positive: Tähän ei kuulunut aamiainen. Vieressä oli ruokakauppa kuitenkin. Monta kivaa pientä ravintolaa saman kadun varressa, jos haluaa mennä syömään tai istumaan iltaa. Rauhallinen ja kaunis vanha talo. Tilava ja kivasti sisustettu asunto! Voisin tulla uudestaan. Negative: Avainkotelo ei auennut, onneksi vuokraaja tuli nopeasti paikalle ja sai sen itse auki.
