Weite, Ruhe, Natur; einfach schön. Positive: Die Lage am Wasser war wunderschön. Genau so habe ich mir Ferien in einem finnischen Mökki vorgestellt. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und immer erreichbar bei Fragen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin gehen. Wer Ruhe Natur und etwas Abgeschiedenheit mag ist dort am richtigen Ort. Negative: Das Bett war für meinen Begriff etwas zu weich aber das ist ein Detail.

Positive: Very good location of the house Negative: The owner of this house is very unpleasant, we spilled a little beer on the carpet in the sauna, this woman made us wash it completely .This place is only for a quiet vacation, I don't recommend it to young people!

simple yet beautiful Positive: Quiet evenings with that endless Finnish sunset over the bay are the real highlight here. The light stretches for hours, the water is calm, and if you’re lucky with the weather it feels almost unreal. The cottage itself is simple, functional and does the job for a short stay. Important things to know before booking: • This is not a secluded place. The cottage sits in the owners’ backyard and is in direct line of sight from their house. Privacy is limited. • On weekends other guests in nearby cottages can be noisy. Weekdays are noticeably quieter. • The toilet is a traditional Finnish outdoor one. Not a deal-breaker if you’re prepared, but worth knowing in advance. • Extra services (laundry etc.) are charged separately — clarify everything with the hosts beforehand. • Communication is via messenger. They respond, but don’t expect instant replies. • Sauna is shared. Arranging a slot is usually not a problem if you ask in advance. Overall — solid option if you mainly want the view and quiet evenings, and you’re fine with the lack of real privacy and basic outdoor facilities. Not for those looking for complete isolation or modern comforts. Negative: nothing in particular. just know the nuances.

Great seaside cabin for nature lovers. Positive: Very nice and clean cabin close to the sea. There is a great sauna with nice view of the sunset and a boat dock to fish from. The forest is full of blueberries. The host was in a house nearby - always there when we needed help but not intrusive. Possibility to use bikes and a rowing boat. Negative: Some people may not like the composting toilet - for us it was not a problem.
